The 2nd Annual Get Down in Town Rehoboth is set for Friday, March 30th, from 6-9 p.m. Participating shops downtown (and there are a lot of them), will be paired with Rehoboth restaurants. The retailers are offering special deals and discounts, while the restaurants are serving tasty treats in the stores. For example, Fins will be shucking oysters at Something Comfortable, while Henlopen City Oyster House will be shucking oysters at Beach Graphics, both on Rehoboth Ave. Go Fish! is paired with Tiger Lili, Victoria's with Carlton's, and Claws with Tickled Pink. The festivities stretch all the way from Jane & Georgie's clothing store on the circle, to the Boardwalk, and on Baltimore and Wilmington Aves. as well. Don't forget the shopping alleys, such as First Street Station, Penny Lane and The Village Shops. "How can I get in on great deals and great food?" you ask? Simply purchase a wrist band for a low $10 at Azura, the Bellmoor Hotel, Carlton's, Heidi Lowe Gallery or South Moon Under before Friday's event, or at the tent at First Street Station the night of the event, and go! Hours are 6-9 p.m. Proceeds from the wrist band sales benefit Southern Delaware Therapeutic and Recreational Horseback Riding, Delaware Guidance Services and the Cape Henlopen High School Booster Clubs.

The Get Down in Town Rehoboth shopping/eating spree is preceded on Thursday evening by a "Wheels & Heels" Fashion Show at the Atlantic Sands Hotel, featuring the Southern Delaware Roller Girls. Then on Saturday, a Crafts Show for the kiddies will be held at the First Street Station, including Spin Art! Find full details at www.azuraclothing.net/getdownintown.
